like a leashed cat

The great leash experiment begins!

So there has been some grumbling about my lack of posts lately -- I do apologize. For the last month, I've spent most of my free time working on assignments for the online food writing class I'm taking. It's called Food Writing Boot Camp, and they really mean it -- I feel like I'm in the midst of a journalistic marathon. But it's great, I'm learning a lot, the other people in the class are talented and I love the teacher. So you see, I'm neglecting my blog for a very good reason!

In other news, Milhouse likes his leash -- or at least doesn't hate his leash -- and has a new found love of chewing on dead grass in the backyard. It didn't take long for him to get used to wearing a leash, but every time I put it on, it does take him several minutes to get used to being in the big bad world once we are outside.

I have several craft and apartment decorating projects on hold right now, awaiting the end of my class. I'll be back with those soon!

I applaud you on your highly responsible cat ownership (kitty leash!). Milhouse remains deadly cute...

Best of luck with the rest of bootcamp!

hahaha, you leashed your cat! too funny :) missed ya!

Just glad to know you're still doing well. I have a friend who's cat LOVES the leash.

Leashed cats! And homework! Perhaps you should consider bringing Milhouse for Christmas hmmm?

Food writing? Definitely! But I almost hate to see you underuse your other talent--photography! You never take any BAD pictures!

Gran,
I checked in and- we have matching cats. Except mine was came from the dumpster. I miss you! Anything I can send you from this side of the world?

let the record state that i still do not approve. as you know i am close with PETA insiders and i am considering reporting this... unless we have pizza tonight.

Heh, my friend's cat loves going out for walks on her leash. ;) My friend only has to shout "Walkies!" (well, the German equivalent), and she comes running to the door.
Millhouse still looks incredibly cute - I bet he doesn't chew your toes like my friend's cat does. ;)
