I love strawberries, and hey, those kewpies have on fake eyelashes.

Of course! Kewpie bananas! That's EXACTLY what I was expecting next.
.... gotta love Japan. :D
On a side note, I recently found out you can get Japanese Kewpie Mayo in the US. That stuff is AMAZING.

Leaving Japan?!? Oh no! I remember leaving Italy after 6 years. It was very sad and strange. Hope you are feeling ok about it!

Yes, I'm really leaving in seven weeks! I feel both happy and sad -- too much to write about in a comment, but I'm sure I'll have a post about it soon.
Thanks for the skirt love. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw the snails!

I may try to align my inner spirit with a kewpie banana for the rest of the week :-)

Do they have other kewpie fruits/veggies for other seasons? That would rock. And cute skirts!!

Gosh! Does that mean the Japanese candy reviews will stop? But I'm sure you'll figure out a way to fill the void in our hearts.

Melissa, I don't remember other fruits, but I've seen Kewpie in the shape of other foods, most famously tarako, which are cod roe sacs. Yum yum!
I will keep posting from Los Angeles and will still do candy review every week, though it will most likely become International Candy Friday.
