This weekend I went to Kyoto and saw the fall foliage at Arashiyama, Kodai-ji and Kiyomizu-dera. I must admit I thought the idea of walking around at night looking at the illuminated autumn leaves was strange and somehow a little false, but it was beautiful to see everything all lit up. I don't know about that blue light shooting into the sky at Kiyomizu-dera, though. It made all my pictures there look like they came from the future.

More pictures to be posted on Flickr soon. For now, I have 13,000 more words to write by the end of the month!

these pictures are awesome. my favorite is actually the last one. it reminds me of "ninja gaiden" for the xbox. in it, you play as ryu hayabusa, last remaing ninja of his clan-
uh, yeah... good luck with that novel.

Remember when I thought you were so excited about a game called "Ninja Garden"? I still like that name better.
